Saturdays 5:30 - 7:30pm
I am so excited to be able to offer class at this time. I thought this time would be favorable to parents, and allow them to drop their child off at the studio, and either be able to go out to dinner, or do other things. 
We will be singing, dancing, and working on performance techniques, while encouraging the students to create their own songs, and choreography.
Session will include 12 weeks of instruction, plus a performance at Seattle Center. It is not mandatory to make every rehearsal or even the performance, but please let me know ahead of time if you will not be able to make it.
The cost for the 12 weeks of instruction and performance at Seattle Center will be $295, which is less than $25 for each two-hour session.
Extra sibling price: $249.
The class fee also includes a special T-shirt for your child, which we will wear for the performance.  Before the first day of class I will provide you with a schedule of what each night will cover and I will be sending music home periodically with your child if they would like to practice their dancing or singing skills for you at home. Of course some of the performance pieces will be a surprise!!!
 Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

Seattle’s Littlest Performers Workshops are designed for those students aged 5-12 that are interested in fine-tuning their musical theatre skills in a small intimate class. A maximum of 10 children will be accepted into each workshop. Each child will be given a practice CD, and music/scripts to practice for the performance.
These one-day workshops will happen once a month at Soma Yoga, and be 3 hours in length from 1pm-4pm in the afternoon. The first workshop will be held on February 12^th, the second will be held on March 12^th, and the third will be held April 9^th. All of the students participating in these workshops will have the option to perform with the evening class at the Seattle Center the week of April 11-15 for Whirligig.
The cost for each workshop is $40, or $110 for all three.  Extra sibling price: $30.  Different material will be covered in each workshop, and the parents are encouraged to drop their child off at the studio and enjoy some personal time.

 Sandy has enjoyed music all her life. She grew up in the small town of Bonners Ferry, ID, where she took advantage of every musical opportunity that came her way. She began formal dance instruction at age 4, as well as piano and voice lessons. She also has won numerous vocal competitions throughout the U.S. and Canada specializing in Italian opera and musical theatre. At age 14 she began her own children’s theatre company called,  “Leap of Faith Theatreworks”, where she taught children aged 5-18 years old music, dance and drama during the summer months for 6 years.

          Having children of her own encouraged Sandy to study Early Childhood Education and Music at the University of Idaho graduating with her B.S. in 2009. Sandy is very fortunate to have been working as an Early Childhood Music Educator in Seattle over the last three years and is excited to be offering these classes at Soma Yoga.
